It is SATs testing for 11 year old pupils this week.
Today it was maths..... so a maths based tie with lots of multiplication signs seemed appropriate.
Here is a question from today's test paper for 11 yr olds:
Put these in order of size (smallest to largest):
two thirds / 0.65 / three fifths / 0.5
The test also threw up a lively debate about whether negative numbers
(such as - 5) can be termed 'whole numbers' .........
